Memorial Day Reminder & Summer Leadership Training Begins June 1st

Hello Reader and family! As a reminder, Starworld Martial Arts Academy will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day. We hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend, spending quality time with family and loved ones while also remembering the true meaning of Memorial Day and honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. As many of you know, I proudly served our country for 20 years in the Armed Forces, so this holiday has always held deep meaning within our family. Master Shay was also raised in a military family and experienced military life growing up from New Jersey and Pennsylvania to many parts of Germany before eventually settling here in Arizona. We are grateful to all who have served and to the families who supported them along the way. As summer approaches, we are also excited to officially announce our 2026 Summer Leadership Training Program beginning June 1st! At Starworld Martial Arts Academy, we believe summer should not be a time for children to lose progress, confidence, focus, or structure. Summer is an opportunity for students to continue growing stronger mentally, emotionally, socially, and physically. Our Summer Leadership Training is designed to help students continue developing: ✔ Confidence This is much more than simply keeping children busy during the summer months. It is a structured leadership and character-development program designed to help students become stronger in body, sharper in mind, and more confident in life. Martial arts is one of the tools. Leadership is the mission. Students are strongly encouraged to continue training throughout the summer so they maintain their progress, confidence, and momentum heading into the fall. Our daytime summer training program also offers opportunities for students who want more from their training experience, whether they need extra practice to stay sharp in their techniques or want to accelerate their growth through additional curriculum training, anti-bullying education, leadership development, and confidence-building activities. SUMMER PROGRAM DETAILS 📅 Begins: June 1, 2026 Students will enjoy exciting themed weeks, including: 🥷 Ninja Week Each week includes: ✔ Martial Arts Training Space is limited each week to help us maintain a positive, high-quality training experience for every student.
