🥋 Belt Test & Graduation – Saturday, September 6th

Mark your calendars! Belt Testing is more than just earning a new belt—it’s about growth, perseverance, and celebrating the journey. Whether you’re a youth student, adult, Tiger/Dragon, or teen, this is YOUR moment to shine. Parents, bring the family and celebrate these milestones—there’s nothing like seeing the pride in a student’s face when they achieve their next rank!

This testing will include Youth, Tigers/Dragons, Adults, and Teens. Performances from Team Unity and the Demo Team will showcase the dedication, consistency, and achievements of our entire Starworld family.

🌍 2025 Region 2 Championship – Saturday, October 4th

The excitement keeps building! The Region 2 Championship in Phoenix is your chance to experience the energy of our WTSDA family coming together in unity. Students of all ages can compete in forms, weapons, sparring, team events, and demo team competitions. Parents—you’ll see the life lessons of focus, respect, and perseverance come alive in every ring. And for those testing for Black Belt and Master rank, this is a moment that will inspire everyone.

🔔 Labor Day Closure

Please note: Starworld will be closed Monday, September 1st for the Federal Holiday.

👕 Uniform Reminder – No Exceptions!

Summer T-shirt wear ends on August 31. Starting next week in September, all students are kindly asked to switch to wearing white karate tops with all patches and trimmed tops for advanced students. Please ensure your uniforms are ready so we can step into testing and tournament season looking sharp and unified. Thank you for your cooperation!

🎥 Hear It From Our Black Belts!​
Every week, our Black Belt teens and preteens create a short video update to share with students and parents. It’s part of their leadership training—helping them grow in public speaking, teamwork, confidence, and planning (especially for those who are naturally shy).
