Wow — what an incredible Back-to-School kickoff! 🎉
Our Break-a-Board for Confidence and Buddy Bash events were a huge hit. The smiles, laughter, and high-energy performances reminded us why our community is so special. Here’s what’s coming up:

• Focus on skill-building in class as we transition from summer fun to back-to-school routines.
• More preparation for our next big milestone — Belt Testing on Saturday, September 6th. (Times and groups will be announced soon — please see the August Calendar for the popular Testing prep Bootcamp date happening in late August.)

We know the school year can bring busy schedules, but making it to class as often as possible will help every student feel confident and prepared. Even if your child isn’t testing this time, these weeks are a great opportunity to build skills and momentum for their next challenge.

We’re also excited to share our updated Class Training Schedule, which builds on what was already working well and adds even more class training opportunities for growth:

• Better Time Flow: Classes for each age group are spaced to reduce crowding and make transitions smoother.
• More Targeted Training: Age and rank-specific sessions mean your child gets more focused instruction.
• Family Flexibility: Expanded Family Classes and extra Adult Karate options make it easier for parents and kids to train together.
• Specialized Opportunities: Continued dedicated sessions for Saturdays Demo Team, S.W.A.T. Instructor Training, and Gold Program sparring/weapons keep students engaged and challenged.

Lastly, a friendly reminder that T-shirt wear ends on August 31. All students are encouraged to switch back to wearing only their white traditional karate top starting September 1. Please check the calendar, mark your child’s classes, and keep those uniforms ready. Let’s aim to finish August on a positive note and step into September filled with focus, skill, and excitement!
