We have two important updates as we head into September:

Region 2 Championship – Saturday, October 4th, 2025

You’ll find flyers below with details and deadlines for the upcoming WTSDA Region 2 Championship at Ability 360 in Phoenix. This event provides an opportunity for our students to come together in the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood, as well as friendly competition.

The tournament is more than just medals—it’s about perseverance. Whether stepping into the ring for the first time or returning as a seasoned competitor, each round, each form, and each sparring match builds confidence, skill, and character. Even when students feel nervous or don’t place, they grow stronger with every experience.

📌 Key Deadlines to Note:

• Sept 1: Final price increase & Team submissions due
• Sept 7: Last day to order shirts
• Sept 15: Final day to register

📌 Judging & Training Opportunities (Sept 6):

• Regional Judging Clinic at Starworld Goodyear
• Mock Tournament Practice for judges, scorekeepers, and competitors

🇺🇸 Labor Day Closure – Monday, September 1st

Please remember that Starworld Martial Arts Academy will be closed tomorrow, Monday, September 1st, in observance of Labor Day.

Labor Day is a time to honor the hard work and dedication that make our families and communities strong. We hope you enjoy a safe, restful day with your loved ones.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 2nd, as we kick off Belt Test Prep Week and help our students prepare for their next big milestone.
