Dear Starworld Families, November is a special month filled with leadership, gratitude, and opportunity at Starworld Martial Arts Academy. Please review the important announcements below. Demo Team TryoutsDo you enjoy exciting, high-energy martial arts? Our Elite Performance Demo Team is holding tryouts soon. Demo Team members train in martial arts acrobatics, tricking, and choreographed routines that combine forms, kicks, music, and showmanship to inspire every audience. They also learn teamwork, timing, and leadership through performance. Veterans Day Closure and DemonstrationStarworld will be closed on Monday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day. Thankful for Martial Arts BINGO ChallengeThroughout November, students are participating in our Thankful for Martial Arts Challenge. Complete all 12 BINGO tasks before the December Belt Test to earn a prize or special recognition. Each task encourages gratitude, discipline, and teamwork—qualities that define a true martial artist. This will be handed out to each student in class. Black Belt Promotions & Special GuestWe are proud to announce that the Mayor of Goodyear will attend our upcoming Black Belt Promotions on December 13 to speak about leadership and community service. A Black Belt symbolizes more than just skill—it signifies years of dedication, respect, and personal development at any age. Each white stripe earned along the way represents progress toward becoming a leader in both martial arts and life.
