Dear Reader and family, August is one of the most exciting months of the year at Starworld! Students are returning to school, preparing for Belt Testing, and taking the next step in their martial arts journey. We look forward to a great month of training and celebrating our students' accomplishments. π₯ Time to Return to Your Karate UniformSummer T-shirt season is coming to an end. Beginning in August, all students should return to wearing their full Tang Soo Do white uniform top to class as we prepare for our August Belt Test. A properly fitting uniform helps students look their best and be ready for this important milestone. π Back-to-School Sale β August 10β13 (4 Days Only!)With Belt Testing just around the corner, now is the perfect time to make sure your student has a properly fitting uniform and any equipment they may need. Our 4-Day Back-to-School Sale runs Monday, August 10 through Thursday, August 13, during regular class hours. You'll save up to 50% on selected uniforms, equipment, and more. If your child enjoys sparring, weapons, tournaments, and extra training, this is also the perfect time to ask about upgrading to our Gold Training Program. Gold members receive additional Saturday instruction in sparring, weapons, and tournament training to help accelerate their progress and prepare for competition. During this promotion, you can upgrade for only $50 more per month (regularly $100) while also taking advantage of sale pricing on many of the items your student will need. π Summer Reading ChallengeThe Summer Reading Challenge ends next week. Students participating in the program should turn in their completed reading logs. If you would like a copy for your records, please make one before submitting the original. π₯ August Belt Test PreparationWe're in full preparation for our August Belt Test Promotion, and many students have trained hard throughout the summer and are well on their way to earning their next belt. Belt Test information packets will be distributed in approximately two weeks. The attached Belt Testing flyer includes the testing schedule for Youth & Teens, Team Demonstrations, Tigers & Dragons, and Adult testing.
